What to Do With Your Life in April

We’ll soon be into the second quarter of 2021! It seems like Christmas was just last week…it’s funny how some days seem so long, but when you look back you can’t figure out where the time went! April will be a busy month for this Crazy Blonde! Between creating content for this blog, Instagram and Pinterest, wedding planning, Easter, packing to go to Germany and then my fabulous two weeks there with my daughter, the Month will be gone before I can blink!

I’ll have more time than I would prefer in the Amsterdam airport, but I’ll work on blog posts and spend some time reading. I have several book recommendations below that I think you’ll like! The one I’m reading right now is called Intuitive Fasting by Dr. Will Cole. I’m not very far in yet, but I think it could be life changing. There are also some movies that I want to watch and I’ve included trailers for two that I think will be particularly good!

Also, April will bring fresh veggies like Asparagus, and crisp fresh lettuces for making delicious spring salads and you know…strawberries won’t be too far behind. There are so many recipes I’m wanting to try so there are a few suggestions below..

I’m starting this post off with a couple of stunning pictures of beautiful flower arrangements. I’ve become very obsessed with the Instagram account of Lola_Moonn and wanted to share these pictures to inspire you to add a bouquet of fresh flowers to your home! You’ll also find a separate post with these beautiful flower arrangements on my blog later today! And, as always, I have my eye on a few new items for our home and for my closet! I hope you enjoy this post!

Flowers are a proud assertion that a ray of beauty out values all the utilities in the world. ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

What to Watch!

Six Minutes to Midnight

You’ll find this movie wherever you stream your favorite films, Six Minutes to Midnight is based on a true story set in England just days, even minutes, before Britain enters into WWII. Critics are torn, but needless to say, the plot is intriguing as there have been plenty of WWII movies lately, but none have this particular plot. Judi Dench (who I adore) stars alongside James D’Arcy. Have a look at the trailer below.

Tina

Premiering on HBO Max, the new documentary of music legend Tina Turner is worth checking out. Have a look at the trailer below.
