Fall Layers - Outfits to Recreate
Baldy and I are headed to Greenville, South Carolina today just for the night to have dinner with friends. I’m really looking forward to seeing a little bit of Greenville and enjoying the evening. However, it won’t be a night for layers because the high is 85! The cooler weather in the Southern part of the country is taking it’s good sweet time coming and I’m so over the heat! I’m feeling very ready for sweater weather!
Today, I’m sharing a few outfit ideas for cooler weather…some great layering pieces for those days when it starts off cool and gets warmer. It’s very likely that you could recreate these outfits (or very similar) from pieces already in your closet! Flare jeans and clogs are a must have this fall season! They look great together and make getting dressed easy! I’ve owned these black Veronica Beard clogs since last fall and love them so much! They run true to size and are so comfortable!
I’m loving the cozy look of this wool tweed coat! This is one that will last a lifetime and never ever go out of style! This might be the best season we’ve had in a while to purchase classic pieces to wear year after year! Don’t forget to change up your makeup for fall! Makeup palettes are great for coordinating eyeshadow and/or lip and cheek colors that will complete your look and they also make great gifts!
The lug sole trend is still huge this season and so practical. I have a similar pair to the ones above by Veronica Beard and they’ve been my most worn pair so far this fall. The sole is durable…it literally never wears out so they’ll last forever! I love the block heel because it adds a little height and dresses up a casual look!
I’m loving the Victorian feel of the sweater above combined with the lace-up lug sole boots in this outfit. The jeans are cropped so you can really show off the shoe! Add a cute scarf and coordinating earrings and you’re good to go!
