I'm Gifting This Great Tote For the Holidays!
Recently, I was in Asheville, NC with two other bloggers on a fun work (sightseeing, eating, etc.) trip! One of the brands that we worked with on this trip was Modus Rio. At the time, I wasn’t familiar with the brand, but have really come to love their bags. The designer and owner of Modus Rio is Sara Taublib. “Sara founded ModusRio in 2007 with a commitment to provide premium quality handbags that are functional, chic, and beautifully crafted. While Taublib is a bona fide New Yorker these days, her home country remains at the heart of ModusRio. Every single material — from the linen to the leather — comes from Brazil, and a small team of talented artisans make each and every handbag in Rio.”
”Taublib has two missions for ModusRio: one is to provide secure jobs and an economic boost to Brazil. The other is to create exquisite handbags for cosmopolitan, sophisticated women who value quality and know good style.”
When choosing a handbag, or any item for that matter, the first thing I look for is quality. It is always a bonus to find a quality bag made by a company that is committed to help and support the employees who make it all possible. Modus Rio bags are made well, roomy, great looking and priced well! Any girl on your list would love to get one of these bags…take a look at the felt bags here! They are fabulous!
As you can see, the bag I’m carrying here is ideal for fall, but would be amazing with white jeans in the spring and summer as well. It is large enough to hold a laptop and other necessities for airport travel, but is also ideal for everyday!
I chose a neutral palette to go with my Modus Rio bag. My sweater is from Gap (this sweater is on sale for $25 and comes in 6 colors…it’s selling out quickly), paired with a leopard scarf, Loft jeans and Mark Fisher booties. Love this outfit for a day of holiday shopping!
I’m sitting in the airport as we speak waiting to board a plane to New York! I’m so excited to get there, take pictures of the Christmas tree and take in all the sights! I hope you’re all having a great day!
