Later when the weather is cooler, I’ll wear boots or booties with this dress and even add a thin turtleneck underneath for warmth with a sweater around my shoulders.

I can’t believe it’s already Thursday and that September is almost over! My little granddaughter Stella turned one on the 24th and they’re coming today for a weekend birthday celebration! I absolutely cannot wait to get my hands on her…she’s such a cutie! I’ll be sharing a few birthday decorating ideas on my Instagram stories and hopefully I’ll get some good pictures for a blog post!

I’ll also be back in the kitchen (finally) on Tuesday and I can’t wait to share a few new fall recipes! My basil is out of control and I’ll be making one more batch of pesto to put in the freezer to eat on pasta, in soups and with burrata! You’ll also love this recipe for Spaghetti with Pecan Pesto!
