Early Fall Outfit Idea

It’s still pretty hot here in the South and I don’t anticipate that really changing soon! Having said that, I’m still ready to transition my wardrobe and include more fall colors, jeans and boots.

You all know by now that our closet and bathroom are being renovated and while I was removing everything from my old closet, I found a few things that had never been worn before and these black jeans are one of those pieces! I got them last season and so happy to have found them. They are from Mother Denim and are mid-rise (which I love) and cropped. I packed them for my trip to Savannah and they went perfectly with this cute blouse from Sea New York and my favorite gold boots from Madison Maison!

This easy and fabulous fall look combines closet essentials (jeans, short sleeve blouses and booties) but the individual pieces are standouts and really elevate the look! The blouse from Sea New York has all the fall colors (burgundy is huge for fall), it has pleating details and is designed for a relaxed fit. The gold boots from Madison Maison really make the look! They have a great heel height and are so comfortable to wear! Later on when the temps drop a little, you could always add a jacket to this outfit!

As we were leaving Savannah, we decided to stop at the Drayton Hotel and have lunch! I had one of the best Seared Tuna Salads ever and ate every bite! The hotel has a rooftop bar, a speak easy and a full service restaurant called St. Neo Brasserie!

The Drayton is one of my favorites because it’s beautiful and in a great location! These pictures were taken in front of the hotel.

I had the best time in Savannah and I’m so happy to be home and sleep in my own bed and get caught up on my life! Travel is fun but home is good too! We have a low key weekend coming up and I can say that I’m not mad about it! We’ll probably go out and have an early dinner tomorrow night and then on Saturday we’ll be going to the UNC home football game. Sunday, I’ll just be home cooking and getting ready for the week ahead! My little granddaughter Stella turns one on January 23 and we’re having a little birthday celebration for her on the 28th! Life is going by too quickly!

Now that I’m home, I’ll be doing some decorating for the fall season (after I get up all the dust from the closet renovation)! I made a little list of great things for fall on my Amazon Storefront so be sure to check it out! When I think of fall, I think of pumpkin spice, soup, sweaters, boots, tailgating, wine and cheese by the fire, Halloween (my witch costume is the collage below) and Thanksgiving! Hope you all have a fabulous day!
