Denim & Leopard
I’m sitting on the front porch of the Summit Street Inn in Winston Salem North Carolina as I write this post…it’s a perfect fall day (even a bit warm for this time of year) and so peaceful here!
Baldy and I were invited to come this weekend to do a little social media for Winston Salem and we’ve had a full day of eating, sightseeing and shopping! We had to come back to the inn to charge our phones and rest for a bit. In a few minutes we’ll leave again to visit the Winston Salem Arts District and then we have dinner at Mission Pizza which is supposed to be so delicious! I can’t say I’m hungry, but I’ll manage somehow.
I’ll be sharing a travel post next week about Winston Salem and everything we did while we were here that I’m sure you’ll enjoy and hopefully refer to if you ever visit!
Today, I’m sharing a fun look that may be a little unexpected. Black leather pants, a sleeveless turtleneck, sling back heels and a denim jacket with a fur leopard collar make up this look.
I put the sling back heels on with the oversized jacket just out of curiosity, and really loved the way it looked…kind of a contradiction because of the casual nature of the denim jacket and the girly shoes. The leopard collar on the jacket ties it all together. Leopard is everywhere this season and I’m absolutely loving the little leopard details on clothing and accessories!

I’m not sure if you want to even know this, but Christmas is in 60 days and I’m starting early with Christmas content this year to help us all be organized and have a less stressful holiday season! And…I didn’t forget the Thanksgiving Survival Guide - it’s just taking a little longer than expected to edit! It’ll be up this week with new recipes, outfit ideas and more for Thanksgiving!
