Coastal Beach Chic
Happy Saturday! Today’s post will be a short one…
I’m sitting in a big chair with Amos surrounded by family as I write this post! It’s lively to say the least but I’m loving every minute of it! Being in a not huge beach house with two dogs, 3 grandchildren and 5 adults is an exercise in letting go. Letting go of any preconceived notions of how things should be and what everyone should do. I am just trying to say as little as possible, enjoy everyone just as they are and embrace the mess. So far, so good! We’ll be going to the beach or the pool soon and I’m sure we’ll all come home tired and happy!
I did want to share this look from Brochu Walker. I think it’s the epitome of sophisticated coastal chic, but it would also go so many other places.
Summer dressing should be easy, especially at the beach and this neutral outfit couldn’t be any more comfortable or effortless. Cashmere can be worn year round and this sweater couldn’t be more perfect with white Italian linen pants and block heel sandals. Wear it now as is, and layer it later over a white blouse or tee when the weather gets cooler.
