Bess & George - 4 Tops, 4 Ways
Good Morning! I’m so thrilled to be blogging today about Bess & George! Bess & George is a company founded by two women, Jen and Erin. Their goal is to make clothing for women that is well made, wearable, comfortable and most of all stylish (you can read my previous post here). They want you to feel confident in your clothes and they want to make getting dressed easier. No more standing in your closet surrounded by clothes that you don’t want to wear!
Bess & George uses soft fabrics to create comfortable classic tops for every body type. These tops take you from the office or out to dinner, feeling fabulous and confident. The thing I love most about this company, other than the clothing, is that it’s a company started by 2 women in midlife to solve a problem for women in midlife…the clothing dilemma. Their goal is to help women look and feel their best and I definitely want to support that! I was fortunate to be able to interview Jen and Erin in my new digital magazine, Blondie, by Crazy Blonde Life. You can download the magazine and read the interview here.
As you know, my style is pretty casual and I’ve styled four Bess & George tops my way! These tops are super wearable and you’ll reach for them again and again.
The first top I’m wearing is the Elizabeth. It features 3/4 sleeves with a scoop neckline and it’s one of my favorites! This lightweight top comes in a navy and gold stripe and looks great with jeans or shorts. I’ve paired it here with off white flare jeans, Gucci platform sandals (similar here) and a red bag from Michael Kors. If you’re looking for a cute July 4th outfit, this top is perfect!
The next top is the Isabelle Top. This boat neck top comes in four colors and is easy to pair with just about anything. I paired it with yellow “girlfriend jeans” from Loft and since the length is a little longer, I tucked it slightly in the front.
Everyone needs a flattering black top in their wardrobe and this one will take you from summer into fall! If you prefer a top with no band, you’ll love this one. The Kate top has a flattering cowl neck and looks great with anything you pair it with. My cropped J Brand pants look great with this black top and I added some fabulous espadrilles from Van Eli and my Tory Burch Miller bag..
The Katherine Top (below),comes in five colors and is the perfect alternative to a t-shirt. Dress it up or down, this top plays equally well with jeans and tennis shoes or slacks and heels. With luxuriously soft fabric and a signature band at the bottom, the strategic draping offers a flattering fit without the cling. White jeans are always perfect in the spring and summer and I added great espadrilles from Chloe, a Cult Gaia Bag and a hat that came from Draper James in Nashville.
I love all of these tops from Bess & George and I’m excited to see what they come up with in the future! You can visit their website to see more by clicking here!
