Styling Wide Leg Jeans

I’m so inspired by outfits I see on Instagram and often, I try to recreate them from items already in my closet and that’s how I cam up with the outfit in this post!

As I was cleaning out last weekend, I discovered the trench from H&M that I’m wearing here still hanging with the tags on! I had forgotten I even had it! That’s what happens when you have so many things crammed in that you can’t see what’s there! I built the outfit around the trench and wanted to create something that looked a little edgy but still was very wearable!

Anine Bing pieces alway add a street style, edgy element to outfits…especially her fun graphic tees. I decided to style my tee and trench with wide leg jeans (also from last season) and my much loved Prada Chelsea boots. If you ever wonder about making an investment in basics like these boots…I’m telling you it’s totally worth it! I’ve worn these boots all over Paris and New York and everywhere in between (including to a football game last night) and they still look new! They are very comfortable and I still love them as much as I did when I bought them! The heel height is perfect and they do add a classic, but still a bit edgy look to my outfits, especially when I style them with wide leg jeans! The final piece was a small crossbody bag that I purchased a couple of years ago from Target! Every time I wear this bag, people ask about it, but unfortunately, it’s no longer available. I’ve linked a similar one from Marc Jacobs that I’ve added to my wishlist!

I am pretty pleased with this outfit…what do you think?
