7 Pieces from Loft That Can Be Mixed and Matched for Spring

I went into Loft not long ago just to look around…that never really works for me! It’s no surprise that I found a few things for spring, but what is a surprise, is…without realizing it, I purchased a small capsule wardrobe for early spring. I bought 2 pairs of jeans, one white and one a cropped wide leg and 4 tops. The tops include a white tee, a white “sweatshirt”, an olive green sleeveless “silky tank” and a great patterned peasant top. Combined with 2 jackets that I already own as well as shoes and bags from my closet. These pieces mix and match so well and will make endless outfits. Also, stay tuned because I loved these outfits so much that I made a YouTube video that will be live next week!

This outfit combines white the white jeans, the olive tank, a denim jacket that I already own (also from Loft), my Tory Burch Bubble Sneakers and shoulder bag. I would style it with heels for a casual lunch or dinner!

Here, the white jeans again with a darling striped sweater with pink detail. I would also wear this outfit with sneakers, but here I’ve styled it with Gold 42 pink suede heels and a Miu Miu bag (similar here) from last season.

Wide leg cropped jeans are a huge trend this season and I’ll admit, it’s not a trend for everyone! I’ve struggled a little with finding a few pairs that work on my short waisted, petite frame, but these from Loft are perfect for me. If you want to try the trend without making too much of an investment, you’ll love the price point on this pair. The cute peasant top is perfect with the jeans and I added really tall platform sandals which I think help with the proportions of the jeans.

The camo jacket from Loft is a few seasons old (I’m linking a similar one) and a closet staple for me! I added a cropped white tee, some very tall Chloe sandals (similar here) and a Tory Burch bucket bag, again from a previous season. This outfit is pretty basic, but it works for so many occasions. I would also pair the olive green tank with this outfit, minus the camo jacket. I found that when trying on tops and jackets with these jeans, that cropped was better for me. If you’re tall with a long torso, you might find you can wear a longer jacket.

Blue jeans, white long sleeve sweatshirt, fun hat and some great sandals are all you need for a casual weekend look. This sweatshirt would also be great with the white jeans and sneakers, or the shoes I’m wearing here. You could also add some bright heels and bag for a totally different look!

One of the reasons I love shopping at Loft is that they have great sales! As I’m writing this, all of these pieces are 40% off, so it’s a great time to add a few essentials to your spring wardrobe!
