6 Ways to Style a Gucci Belt
My Gucci belt has become a staple in my wardrobe, because of its versatility, and I’ll no doubt be wearing it throughout 2021 and beyond because it is timeless. This belt is perfect with tailored pieces and dresses and can also be dressed down with distressed denim on the weekends. I’ve worn it (them haha) so many times that I’m certain it’s earned it’s cost per wear by now. In my opinion, a nice leather belt is an item that’s worth the investment.
I’m always looking for new ways to style my belt and here are a few ways that I’ve worn it over the past year. Keep in mind that all of these looks can be achieved with your favorite leather belt…it doesn’t have to be a Gucci belt…it’s just my favorite belt at the moment!
This picture is from a couple of years ago…I’ve styled my belt with a dress from H&M, Stuart Weitzman boots (I’m still wearing them every fall and winter) and a faux fur vest. When you talk about price per wear, these boots owe me money! I’ve been wearing them for several seasons now and they still look great with everything from jeans to leggings to skirts and dresses! The lesson here is to invest in pieces that will stand the test of time and you’ll love them forever!
I’m including another picture of the plaid dress styled with combat boots. I’m not wearing a belt, but could easily add one. It’s two completely different looks with the same dress.
I will admit that I had a very hard time finding similar dresses to link…this was a one off that I found in New York in 2018! Even if you don’t see a dress you like, hopefully this outfit gives you some inspiration!
It’s such a coincidence to be wearing 2 pieces from H&M in the same blog post, because I don’t really buy that any pieces from H&M. I purchased the sweater I’m wearing when I visited my daughter in Boston last January at H&M. They really do have so many versatile pieces at amazing prices. My jeans are from Loft, and I’m wearing Marc Fisher booties and of course, my brown Gucci belt.
This dress is another piece from Loft. I bought it without trying it on because I thought it was so amazing, but when I got home, it looked a little frumpy on me. The belt made such a difference because it gave me some shape. Once again, my boots are by Miu Miu and are at least 20 years old and I still love them…AND leopard print is always a classic!
This season, more than any other, I have loved blazers! I paired this black and white plaid blazer with leather pants and added my Gucci belt which, in my opinion, made the outfit!
Jeans have always been my wardrobe staple and here, I’ve paired them with a leopard print blouse, black booties, a black suede bag by Tory Burch (old), and a feather coat by Lamarque (linking the exact coat).
This outfit is my favorite…saved the best for last! I love distressed jeans, tall block heel boots and black sweaters (I have so many)! My sweater is kind of long and oversized, so I tucked it in just a bit in the front and added the belt so I wouldn’t look lost in the sweater. Add a glass of wine and you’ve got a winning combination!
I’m including a boutique of some of my favorite picks from the choices above….Also, be sure to check out my Holiday Gift Guides to find the perfect gift for anyone on your list!
