Practice Forgiveness
LOVE ACCEPTS YOU FULLY AS YOU ARE. NOT AS YOU THINK YOU SHOULD BE, BUT AS YOU ARE, RIGHT NOW.
Your life will begin to change the moment you realize how important it is that you forgive yourself. We are so hard on ourselves, we all have moments when weβve done something we wish we hadnβt. So instead of letting it ruin your day, instead of dwelling on it, instead of perpetuating those feelings of guilt and self hatredβ¦why not just let it go. In the moment that you feel regret, self hatred, self judgement, LET IT GO AND FORGIVE YOURSELF. After all, you canβt go back and change what happened, but you can move forward and choose differently in the next moment. Every moment is an opportunity to begin again and see things differently. Itβs an opportunity to change your perception and it will change your life. You will screw up again, because we all do, but experience those moments differently. Choose to meet those moments with a new intention. When you are able to add up those shifts of forgiving yourself (it becomes a practice) instead of beating yourself up over and over again, you give yourself permission to move on and be happy. When you stay in a place of self attack and self judgement, you cannot change. Your life stays in chaos and you will repeat the same behavior over and over again. Does any of this resonate with you?
Forgiving yourself is a choice β¦itβs choosing happiness. You donβt have to do anything except in your mind, choose to let things go. Choose to be ok with whatever just happened because you canβt go back and change it. If you set an intention to forgive yourself, you are giving yourself the biggest gift of all. It will allow you to move forward and step out of the chaos and repetitive behavior. When you stay mad at yourself and live in regret and guilt, you have given up your power. Forgiveness is taking back your power, moving on and doing things differently next time.
