Wearing Light Blue in Winter

Now that the holidays are over, I’ll admit that I’m thinking about warm weather and spring clothes, but the cold weather isn’t over yet! Between rainy days and snow in the forecast, I’m thinking that I may need to stock up on cozy sweaters and find a few good soup recipes. It’s going to be a while before it’s time to put on spring clothes! Whether you’re spending the day indoors or heading out into the chilly air, there’s nothing easier than throwing on a pullover sweater. My sweater is from Aritzia and one of several new purchases I’ve made. I love to wear light blue in the winter because it seems to brighten a grey day and January and February are full of grey days. This color will also be perfect for early spring paired with white! Also, be sure to visit my January Shop to see what’s on my January wish list!

I added a lucite bag to this outfit just for fun. Inside, I tucked a light blue wallet inside to coordinate the bag to the sweater. I purchased the bag to take to football games because they’ve gotten so strict about carrying handbags inside and it’s become one of my favorite bags! This bag is so versatile and is perfect for anytime of the year!

Here are a few more of my favorite cozy sweaters to wear while waiting for those first warm days of spring!

I’m in Clarksville Tennessee this week helping my daughter Sarah move into a new apartment and it’s been quite the trip! I don’t care if I never drive another U-Haul! We have another day of it today, but at least most everything is moved and we can do a little fun decorating! Tomorrow, we’re going to Nashville for some girl time so I’ll be blogging from there and I’m very excited to have some fun with Sarah! Have a great day!
