Embroidered Tunic and Mignonne Gavigan Earrings

According to the Pinterest forecast of top trends in 2018, you can put your studs back in the jewelry box and invest in oversize hoops, structured metal earrings and giant tassels.  Evidently, saves for structured statement earrings is up 947 percent!  That's just a little trivia and you may not even care, but for those that do, Mignonne Gavigan earrings are the most fabulous earrings I've found so far this season!  The ones I'm wearing are made of fabric and beads and are surprisingly light!  I'm going to start experimenting with wearing my hair in a loose ponytail so that I can really show off my statement earrings.

Bright floral embroidery continues to be a popular trend for Spring 2018 (think Gucci).  I've been a huge fan of Johnny Was for several years now and while this brand has a boho vibe unlike Gucci, it is still very popular and I think well suited for laid back summer dressing!  I'm going to be living in this beautiful embroidered tunic.  I can see it with shorts, jeans and dressier white pants.  It's just my style!  If you live in North Carolina, Rebecca & Co. in Greensboro, has a great selection of Johnny Was.

I paired this great top with white jeans, and my Jimmy Choo clogs.  As with so many things in my closet, these clogs are around 10 years old.  I loved them the minute I saw them and continue to love them every spring and summer.  They are definitely not for a day of shopping and walking around, but they are comfortable and make a fun statement!  I tried to find a similar pair, but couldn't, so I linked a few pairs that I like (at literally every price point).
