Casual Style for Saturday
For some reason, weekends call for a different mindset altogether. I usually get up a little later, eat a little differently (I'm more likely to splurge), and I don't usually wear the same clothes that I wear throughout the week. It's not laziness, it's just a more relaxed way of being. I love a long brunch that blends into the afternoon with lots of mimosas and delicious food (you'll want to make this easy Leek and Gruyere Quiche)!
The outfit that I'm wearing, is one of my favorites that I've put together in a while. The pieces are ones that I've had in my closet, but have never worn together. I'm admittedly a little fed up with the winter weather, and this day was chilly and windy, but the light blue of the sweater brought a spring feel into the outfit. I wear a denim jacket often and I think it added a bit of interest, tied around my waist, and made the whole ensemble look effortless. Isn't that how we want weekends to be?
I carried my Vera Bradley Glenna tote along with my Mallory satchel...both are roomy and perfect for a weekend trip. The Mallory satchel has been my go-to bag since I got it because it looks great with everything. The Glenna tote is a very versatile bag and works really well with light blue. It will certainly be packed up soon with beach essentials as we head to Bald Head Island. I have no idea where the sunglasses came from (literally I found them in the house) and they aren't anything special, but I like the way they look! My shoes are from Zara, and no longer available, but I've linked a similar pair.
I liked wearing this outfit so much that I might wear it again on a weekday!
I'm still spending time catching up on so much that needs to be done here in my Crazy Blonde office so my next post will be on Thursday! I hope you'll bear with me as I regroup just a little! Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope your Tuesday is great!
