This basic, I like to think "basic with a twist" outfit is pretty much my uniform.  I don't really go anywhere that I need to be too dressed up.  Mostly I'm home blogging or running errands.  I do get a little more dressed up for lunch or dinner out, and of course on vacation and those special occasions like weddings and parties.  An outfit like this makes me feel put together and stylish, but still comfortable.  Truth be told, I would wear these shoes out to run errands, but they would come right off and be replaced with something very comfortable while I'm home.  I do like to look like I've made an effort to look nice while I'm out.

About the outfit!  I am really obsessed with these See by Chloe platform shoes...they are so 1970 something (yes I do remember 1970 something)!  They are really comfortable and perfect with the new hemlines of jeans for spring.  My jeans are by Frame denim and have a "petal hem" that I'm loving.  I paired them with a striped tee and a military jacket that I purchased in the early fall and is perfect for cool spring days.  I don't really remember when it happened, but I have become a collector of military jackets.  I think it's because they go with anything and there are so many cute ones now, from camo to embroidered.  I've linked some of my favorites below!
