Faux Fur is a Very Real Trend - Here's How I Styled Mine
If you’re obsessed (like I am) with having everything fluffy and furry, this is a great time to invest in a faux fur coat or vest…especially as the temperatures have been dropping! Faux fur coats are everywhere at every price point and they come in every color, style and pattern you can imagine, from stripes to leopard and everything in between! Here are a few ideas for styling your faux fur vest or coat along with some that are on my list for the winter season!
I’ve had this faux fur vest from Ann Taylor for several years now and I always reach for it to complete a basic outfit and give it a wow factor. It’s a little long and goes perfectly with leather leggings and tall boots. I added a long pendant necklace just for fun. This is a piece that will be in my closet for a long time to come.
This faux fur coat from Target caught my eye a few weeks ago because of the color and style! Of course, it goes with everything and I love the oversized classic car coat style. My bag is from Henri Bendel (sadly they’re closing at the end of the year), but you can still shop the website and this bag is 25% off! My jeans are McGuire Denim (my current favorite brand) and the boots are old Steve Madden. The scarf is from the Christmas section at Target and I used it to wrap packages when I took it off haha…I was feeling festive in the snow!
This is a standout from the crowd coat that I got for a steal last season from Zara. I paired it with black jeans, black booties and a black turtleneck…the classic column of color. I added a bag by J. W. Anderson. The stripe in the coat is a fun pop of color that makes this coat one you could throw on for a great daytime look with black, classic denim and also with grey. It’s chic and fun! Keep scrolling for the whole boutique of pieces and more from this post!
I’m off to take more fashion pictures, do a makeup video for women over 50, package the granola that I made last night, wrap packages, do a little more shopping, plan our Christmas Eve menu, do laundry…the list goes on! Merry Christmas!
