3 Cozy Outfits for November and a Little Gratitude
Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets. So, love the people who treat you right, forgive the ones who donβt and believe that everything happens for a reason. If you get the chance, take it. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said it would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it. ~ Dr. Seuss
Ahhh the wise words of Dr. Seuss! Nobody could say it better than that. This time of the year, I start to reflect, as I suppose we all do, on the year behind me. What are the things that I loved about the year, how could I have changed the things that I regret, because inevitably we all have regrets. What changes can I implement that will make the year ahead the best it can be? Honest reflection, is a good thing! Itβs not about dwelling on the past, or living with regret, itβs just about evaluating and deciding what things I can change to make the coming year better. As I reflect on the previous year, counting my blessings is the best place to start. I have so many things to be thankful for! My heart is so full of love for my family, my home and the promise of wonderful days ahead!
Thanksgiving is right around the cornerβ¦I cannot even believe that itβs two weeks from today! Honestly this holiday season is sneaking up on me and it makes me want to slow time so that I can enjoy and savor every moment. The weather here has been perfect, sunny skies and cool temperatures. The leaves are finally starting to turn and itβs just so beautiful. Iβm all about effortless style because I donβt have time to come up with complicated outfits. Usually, Iβm running late and need to throw something on and be out the door. Today is no exception!
I was feeling a little festive and pulled out a red plaid top, paired it with my favorite Mother Denim jeans and leopard booties. I love the combination of leopard and plaidβ¦itβs a little unexpected, but totally works. You can also try pairing a red plaid blouse with a leopard coat as I did in this post!
This Cabi coat has been one of my favorite pieces for fall. Itβs lightweight and perfect with so many things. Here, I made it really simple and wore it with brown Rag & Bone Booties and added a necklace for interest.
Iβll probably be wearing this floral blouse from Loft (last season) for Thanksgiving. Iβll be cooking and running around making sure everything is done and comfort is important. The heel height on these booties makes running around easy, and I love the colors in the blouse!
Iβve been pinning away on my Pinterest Boards and adding so many ideas for fall outfit ideas and yummy food for the holidays! Be sure to check them out!
Fashion is fun and I love sharing outfits, but what I really love is sharing my journey and encouraging you (and myself) to re-imagine your life! Everything you need is within youβ¦just listen to that beautiful all knowing voiceβ¦make today the most glorious day!
