Early Spring Outfit Ideas
It's finally the weekend and I couldn't be happier to be sitting in my pajamas, drinking coffee and working on my blog! We are planning a very relaxing day of doing not much of anything other than maybe an early dinner and watching Grace & Frankie tonight. Tomorrow night, we'll watch the Super Bowl, like everyone else! I am excited because we're leaving for Tampa on the 15th and I can't wait to soak up some sun and relax by the pool for a few days! Look for an email this coming week with my favorite picks for resort wear!
The pictures that I'm sharing today are ones that were taken over the last several weeks that didn't make the blog.
I've been planning a big closet overhaul and thinking about what I need for essential wardrobe pieces. A leather jacket, white blouse, dark wash skinny jeans, black clutch and leopard booties definitely make the cut! I got my cute leopard sock booties from the Zara sale as well as five (yes five!) other pairs. I just couldn't help myself!
Loft also had a great sale last month and I got several blouses and sweaters to get me through the next month or so. By the end of January, I'm always so tired of everything in my closet and these pieces added some color and made the jeans that I've been wearing all winter feel freshened up a bit. I'm a little obsessed with my new white bag (similar here in a beautiful light green and also comes in cream) and always looking for a reason to wear these Gucci boots (these are amazing)!
This cute light blue sweater is from Loft and I paired it with some of my favorite Rag and Bone jeans, a round bag from Henri Bendel, and my very comfortable snakeskin Seychelle booties. My locket is by Monica Rich Kossan.
Trench coats are a huge trend this season and there are so many to choose from. Mine is from Banana Republic, last season. The Marni bag is another favorite of mine and so ladylike! In keeping with my high/low philosophy, my shoes are Zara, also from last season. The Citizens of Humanity jeans have been on rotation since early fall. They felt a little tighter when I put them on this time. I probably need to get on the treadmill before I put on a bathing suit in Florida!
Thank you all for the wonderful, heartfelt comments on the blog post I wrote about my journey over the past three years! All of them touched my heart and made me feel connected to so many of you who have been through similar situations.
Have a great weekend!
