Fashion for Spring
The weather we had over the weekend had me thinking of the warm days of summer. I love to eat breakfast outside and let the warm sun shine on my face and then sit outside again under the stars eating dinner. I'm anticipating the first signs of the bulbs popping out of the dirt and everything being green again. I'm ready for longer days and long walks. I'm also ready to travel to see my daughters in Nashville, Boston and Atlanta. Missing everyone so much since the holidays. I'm sure this weather isn't going to last, but I'm loving every minute of it!
My intention right now is to focus on everything that inspires me. I am the inventor of my dreams and my focus on the sweetness of life will take me where I choose to go!
On this warm day, I wore a classic blouse with adorable statement sleeves from Loft, dark wash Citizens of Humanity jeans (on sale here), Steve Madden booties and a white bag by Ella Rabener tied with a scarf. These jeans have been favorites of mine and are so much fun to wear because they are not your typical pair of jeans. This outfit is a great example of mixing high and low. I've mixed a luxury bag with a blouse that was under $50 (and is now half price). My booties are only $80, but the jeans were somewhat of an investment. This style of jeans isn't going anywhere and will still be trending for spring, so you will see them again here! Loft is having a fabulous sale right now and I'm linking some of my favorite pieces below. This is a great chance to stock up on some things for next year as well as get a few great things for now!
My photographer told me to stop posing like a teapot, so of course, I posed like a teapot!
This is the start to a new week! Let's make it a great one!
