How to Make an Easy Fall Centerpiece

There is something so special about fall for me.  The air starts to get cool and crisp and I start to crave warm pumpkin bread and sitting by the fire and looking up at the stars.  It's still pretty warm here, although it does seem cooler at night and we are ready for fire building with plenty of firewood when the time comes.

I decided to bring a little bit of fall beauty inside yesterday with a seasonal centerpiece to brighten things up a bit.  This centerpiece was so simple to make and I used things from the grocery store as well as things from my yard.  Keep scrolling to see how I did it!

I started with this beautiful copper tiered stand that I picked up at Home Goods for 24.99!  I didn't really know what I would do with it at the time, but I thought it would be great for so many different displays!  You could also use stacked cake stands but make sure to secure them with floral tape.

At the grocery store, I picked up miniature pumpkins, squashes, eggplant, small pears and miniature bell peppers as well as a bunch of small sunflowers and some rosemary.

I cut the sunflowers leaving about 2 inches of stem and placed them in floral water vials, which you can pick up at Michaels or order on Amazon through the link above.

From my yard, I gathered ivy, magnolia leaves, and one lonely hydrangea.  I started with the top tier and placed a few magnolia leaves, the pumpkins, and the hydrangea since it was the only one.  I filled in with ivy, pears, peppers and rosemary and lastly the flowers.  Every tier is a little different and I just worked my way down.  Eggplant is on the bottom since they were bigger, although I bought the smallest ones I could find.  Japanese eggplant would be nice also as would apples.  Feel free to substitute whatever is available that you like.

The arrangement still looks great this morning!  I'm sure that I'll have to replace a few things as they wilt, but I'm really pleased with the way it turned out, and it only took me about 20 minutes, including cutting the magnolia and ivy from the yard.  All of the elements are really beautiful on their own and look amazing together.

I took these pictures outside where I served some cheese and wine, but later that evening I brought it inside and put it in the middle of my kitchen island.

I hope you'll try to make some version of this and send me pictures!  It's so nice to decorate seasonally by bringing some of the outside in!  I've included some links for great tiered stands below!

Have a great day everyone!  Please leave your comments below and follow me on Instagram @crazyblondelifeblog!
