"Being a Mom Has Made Me So Tired and So Happy!"

This year has been a year of unexpected events for me!  It started with Rebecca moving to Boston and continued with Sarah getting married and finally, Lauren and Chris moving to Atlanta!  I am facing a new chapter in my life that I never anticipated.  Somehow, I always thought that everyone would be right down the street.  I'm sure that I'll get used to my girls being gone, and it makes me happy that they are all happy and doing well; but it also makes me sad that we won't all be together very often.  I had a hard time finding pictures of all of us for this post.  The last time we were all together was Christmas and the next time might be Sarah's wedding in August.  Even though things aren't how I envisioned them, I'll make the best of the situation and get to know Nashville, Boston and Atlanta very well!

I couldn't be more proud of each one of my beautiful daughters!  I love them more than I could even begin to say and they are my greatest blessing!  Being a mother and now grandmother to Hudson has made my life so joyful, and I am grateful to have them in my life!

Happy Mothers Day!

When I was looking for a quote and trying hard not to cry, I found this one from Tina Fey that made me laugh!  I thought it was so appropriate for this past year.  I'm sitting in the bed in Clarksville, Tennessee, writing this blog post and getting ready to go and help Sarah and Will put their town home together.  We all got here (Will's family is here also) last night and unloaded the U-Haul, but there is still so much to be done!  I guess it's true that it takes a village and luckily we've got one here today!

I love watching my mother with Hudson!  It brings her so much joy to be with him!

I'm leaving Clarksville on Wednesday and I'll be home for almost two weeks before it's time to go to Atlanta and help Lauren and Chris move into their new home!  After that...who knows!  I'm hoping for a little relaxation at the beach!  Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there!
