My Trip Down Memory Lane!

This journey of life is a crazy one.  While I call myself the Crazy Blonde, it's not meant to be serious, but just an observation of how surprising and busy life can be.  At this moment, with Sarah's wedding over and the realization that all three of our daughters (and Hudson) will be in different states that are far away from each other, I feel overwhelm and sadness for myself and I also feel hope and excitement.  It's a very bittersweet feeling!  Life is full of unexpected events, good and sometimes really bad; we can either let those events destroy us or we can refuse to be cynical and make the most of every day.  I know that my life is going to change drastically, but I also realize that the decisions that my girls have made are not about me.  They are strong, independent women who are living their own lives and they are making choices for themselves and their families and I respect them for that!  As parents, we want our children to grow up to live the best lives possible, full of love, laughter and joy!  Life isn't always easy and things don't always turn out how we expect them to, but I am sure that our daughters have chosen well and are able to deal with what life brings with grace.  They know that I will be there for them no matter what happens.

I am so grateful for Crazy Blonde Life!  I started this blog, knowing that I would need something in my life to fill the void when my girls left to live lives of their own.  I will always be there for them and I will miss them terribly, but I am grateful that I can go and see them when I want and they know that they can always come home.

I feel sure that I will be an expert on all the best places to go in Nashville, Boston and Atlanta and I will blog about them and share my experiences.

This is truly a Crazy Blonde Life!

I'm gonna miss this little guy so much!

I have a trip planned to Boston in March!  Feels like forever since I last saw Rebecca!

I love this picture of Sarah and me when were shopping! It's always an adventure with Sarah!

Since weddings have been on my mind, I had to include this picture!  It seems like yesterday when Lauren and Chris got married!  I learned a lot planning their wedding so Sarah's should be a breeze!

Rebecca, Sarah and me in the South of France!  It was such a special trip!

Will and Sarah at Bald Head Island three years ago!

We've made so many great memories at Bald Head!

It's hard for me to believe how much Hudson has grown!  I'm so grateful for the time he has stayed with me and that I've had the chance to get to know him!

Hudson's first birthday!

Rebecca's graduation from Savannah College of Art and Design!  I'm so very proud of her!

Thank you so much for going on this trip down memory lane with me and thank you for stopping by Crazy Blonde Life!
