Family Christmas

I hope that everyone had a wonderful holiday!  Christmas came and went too quickly and I'm going to admit that this year we resolved that we would do some things differently next year!  It's not that we didn't have a great time, but we worked ourselves nearly into exhaustion.  We need to find some balance!  The house is now pretty trashed and for some reason, we decided to do some cleaning out of closets today!  I guess that now is as good a time as any!  Tomorrow, I'm going to try to take the Christmas tree and greenery down because it has gotten very dry!  The outdoor wreaths and some of the other things will stay out until the middle of January.

Lauren, Rebecca and Sarah are still here and tomorrow, we are going to the NC Museum of Art to see the 50 Years of Ebony Fashion Exhibit.  It covers 50 years of beauty and style with 40 outfits by Christian Dior, Givenchy, Alexander McQueen and more!  I can't wait to share my pictures!  Burlington is a small town, but we are surrounded by so many great things that are only 30 minutes to an hour away...including the NC Museum of Art!

Hudson on Christmas Morning

I tried so hard to capture the surprise and delight in Hudson's face when he saw his gifts from Santa and even when he opened gifts from under the tree!  His pure uninhibited joy was priceless!

Blogging has been difficult with everyone here, to say the least!  I'm changing things up the first of the year and I can't wait to share things with you!  One other big thing that is happening in my life is an intense yoga teacher training starting February 23.  It will go for two weeks from 8 am to 8 pm everyday!  I know it will be life changing in so many ways and when it's over, I'll be physically and mentally exhausted, but also ready for all the new things coming!  I'm  excited to share another year of my life with you all!  It would really mean a lot to me if you would leave some suggestions with me!  I really want to know what you would like to see and learn about!  I'm going to be doing some yoga and fitness videos, which is new for me as well as more cooking and fashion coming up in January!  Also, I will be taking you on a decorating journey as I change up my house!

I hope you're all having the best week!  Coming up - I'm recapping the best moments of 2018!  Thanks so much for reading!
