Party Outfit for the Holidays

The Christmas season is officially here with Thanksgiving over and all of the sales starting.  It's exciting to think about the parties and the festivities, but it's also important to remember to slow down and take care of yourself.  Choose to give yourself permission to meet your own needs this holiday season and to honor your feelings and emotions.  Make self care a priority so that you can enjoy this wonderful season.

This outfit is so much fun with the pink furry vest.  I got this vest several seasons ago and it goes with everything from a striped shirt and jeans to this look with velvet pants and a lacy shirt.  My shirt came from the LOFT sale and it's going to be so cute for the holidays.  I also love it paired with jeans and my black over the knee boots from Target.

Just in case you're in the mood for a little more shopping today, here are some links to great sales!

My family is leaving today, and the house will get very quiet again.  It's been so much fun to have everyone home to celebrate Thanksgiving.  I know that in three weeks, they'll all be back and we'll be together for Christmas.  I hope that between now and then, you'll check back and see what I'm up to as I prepare for Christmas.  Here are a few pictures from the weekend...just because!

Our latest addition...Sarah and Will's dog, John Wayne.  He was definitely posing for this picture!

This platter is handmade by my daughter Rebecca!

I love this picture of Hudson!  He looks so joyful just from throwing leaves.  It's the way we should all be.  Have a great Sunday!
