My Favorite Jeans and What to Wear To the Pumpkin Patch

Since it's been like summer here since about June, I've worn this cute blouse from Loft so many times!  It is a perfect on trend color, and looks like I'm at least trying to dress for fall, but it's still good for the 80+ degree weather we're having.  This time, I paired it with my all time  favorite Rag and Bone jeans (also seen here). I know that some people think I shouldn't wear ripped jeans, but I love them, and always have, so I wear what I want!  I've had the cute beaded necklace by Lush Jewelry since last fall, and it adds a great pop of color to the blouse.  My bag...what can I say about Stella McCartney, it is perfection!  My booties are Vince Camuto, making this is a great high-low outfit for sure.  I think a good bag always elevates an outfit, even at the pumpkin patch!

For years, I've been trying to buy one investment piece every season, usually it ends up being a pair of shoes or a bag.  As I've said before, I have shoes and bags that I've had for 12 - 15 years and I still wear them every season.  Some things just never go out of style.  One day, I'll have quite a collection that hopefully my girls will want to wear!  I have sold a few pieces, including a pair of red patent leather Roger Vivier flats, that I really wish I still had.  I've been seeing them on fashion blogs and in magazines everywhere, oh well, lesson learned.  It's a little scary that I have my own vintage haha!

I've been embracing the season as much as possible with my outfits, decor and cooking.  I picked out pumpkins for the front porch while were there, I've taken out my Halloween witches, I've made several things with pumpkin and I've got a Thanksgiving decorating post coming soon!  Last night for dinner, I made the most wonderful and easy chicken recipe, Chicken with Leeks and Lemon, that I'll also be sharing.  If you hurry, there is still a picture on my Insta Stories!  I've also got a recipe for Sweet Potato Sausage balls that I'm so excited to share (think spicy andouille sausage)!

As I'm writing this, I'm also chasing my 2 year old grandson, Hudson!  If this post seems a little all over the place, it's because I'm all over the place, literally carrying my computer from room to room!  Happy Monday and have a great day!

Here are a few of my favorite pieces from Loft as well as links for my long lost Roger Vivier shoes!
