As I'm writing this, I'm reflecting back on the past few weeks and feeling so grateful for the many wonderful things that are unfolding in my life. It seems that I've had so many opportunities come my way lately and I'm more and more aware of the abundance in this world.
Last night, I was privileged to be part of a event for women called the She Expo. Local vendors came together to create a shopping and information expo. Tanger Outlets presented two fashion shows with fall and holiday fashion that I was beyond excited to be a part of! I met so many wonderful women that who participated in this Expo. I'm working on a blog post all about the She Expo coming soon!
My homemade Halloween Snack Mix is so delicious and addictive. I made a batch for the She Expo and didn't come home with a crumb. This snack mix filled with white chocolate, peanuts, and M&M's would make the perfect nibble for a Halloween party.
Last Sunday (seems like yesterday), I hosted a trunk show for the Anna Cate Collection. I love all of the clothes in the collection and this sweater is one of my favorite pieces! The options for styling it are endless and It is finally cool enough to wear it...I just hope it stays that way! I can't wait to share more of the collection with you!
I've been working on my bySuzanne Catering website and preparing for the Christmas holidays! I made this Fall gift box and will be taking orders for Christmas. Check out my Instagram here for updates on what I'm doing.
Garrick and I attended the Black and White Ball, a fundraiser that raises money to provide basic necessities such as money for rent and electric bills to cancer patients. I wore this fabulous jumpsuit by Susana Monico from Rebecca & Co. I love the way it fits and that it has a tie at the waist...If I eat too much, no one will know! It's so much fun to get dressed up!
I talked about The Face Magazine in a previous post and I have so enjoyed looking through the past issues. The holiday issue is coming out soon and I've been invited to go to a preview party and fashion show at the Le Meridien Hotel in Charlotte on the 28th...pinch me!
Williams Sonoma Pumpkin Bread is one thing that I can't live without in the fall. My favorite is the one with chocolate chips and I always add a few extra to make it even more chocolatey. If you have any leftover the next day; it's delicious toasted with butter and a little jam!
Our home was photographed last year to be featured in the holiday issue of Southern Home Magazine and finally, after waiting almost a year I got to preview the magazine last night. The issue hits newsstands on November 1, so be sure to pick up a copy for lots of holiday decorating inspiration. Our home was decorated with the help of Leigh Jones Interior Design and I couldn't be more excited about our home being included in this classic and beautiful magazine!
I'm excited for the cooler weather, especially since we're going to a UNC football game tomorrow! It's been so hot the last few games!!
