Getting the Christmas Tree - A Tradition

We went to Cobb's  Christmas Tree Farm to get our Christmas tree on Saturday!  It was a chilly day and that made it feel like Christmas time to me.  I finally turned on the nonstop Christmas music this week and I'm in full holiday mode!  I'll be wrapping presents and starting to bake some desserts to put in the freezer this week!

What a week it was last week!  I always forget just how busy things get around the holiday season!  Between trying to get the house decorated, blogging and doing a cooking class, the week just flew by!  It was nice to at least sleep a little late yesterday and it was a rainy, chilly day so I slowed down just a bit!

Can you believe how big this Santa is?  People were lining up to take pictures!

I'm wearing a coat from J Crew that I've had for several years...it feels festive for picking out the Christmas tree.  My coat is no longer available, but I love this vest, and this coat!

Cobb's Christmas Tree Farm is so much fun.  They offer snacks and hot chocolate and they have wreaths and garlands as well!  It's such a great family tradition to go and pick out a Christmas tree!

Getting the lights on the Christmas tree is always the most consuming part and even more so this year because half of ours didn't work!  I had to go and search for more lights and I think everyone else had the same problem because they were very hard to find this year!

This is the decorated tree!  The ornaments bring back so many special memories from years past.

Our Christopher Radko ornaments have been collected over the past 25 years and they make the Christmas tree absolutely sparkle!
