Holiday Tea

The official start to the holidays for me is making holiday tea!  My mother always made a holiday tea when I was growing up and the smell of the tea brings back so many memories for me!  I love the way the tea makes the house smell so inviting!  This holiday tea is such a comforting drink!  I love to fill a mug and sit by the fire to drink it or to have some mid morning.  It's also fun to add a shot of bourbon for a warming after dinner drink.

The weather is still somewhat warm here, so today I was pretending that the weather was cool and crisp!  I'm wearing my favorite Cabi camel sweater with a Cabi furry scarf.  The sweater and scarf are staples in my wardrobe.

recipe

This recipe is easily doubled or tripled for a crowd and makes a great drink for brunch.

I've been keeping Hudson this weekend while his parents are in New York!  It's been so much fun to have him here, but I must admit that I'm EXHAUSTED!  He has so much energy...so much more than I do!  This post was supposed to go out yesterday, but I just couldn't get it done!  Thanks to everyone for stopping by!  Have a great weekend and follow me on Instagram @crazyblondelifeblog!
