YOU JUST NEVER KNOW!
Rebecca and I started our day with lunch at La Voile, an adorable french restaurant on Newbury Street! We sat outside and had mussels and frites, salmon, and a delicious lemon tart! It was a perfect day with very mild temperatures and no humidity! The only thing that wasn't perfect was that someone stole my phone from the ledge under the planter! It was so crazy! It felt very invasive. We were tracking it and could see that someone was clearly walking down the street with it! We went quickly to Verizon, which luckily was very close, and got a new phone, but I will admit that it was very upsetting! I tried to get on with the day and it was a very very nice day in spite of the phone incident! We shopped around Newbury Street and then went to Charles Street where we shopped a little more and walked through the Boston Public Gardens. We stopped for a glass of wine and a Capresse Salad on Charles Street and did more people watching. We ended the night with more food! We ate at a restaurant called Oleana and of course I forgot my camera! Oleana is just a short walk away from Rebecca and Hayes's apartment and serves the most delicious Eastern Mediterranean food! I would love to live in a place where I could walk to dinner! Still holding out hope for Burlington!
I am so sad to be leaving today, but I know that it's time for Rebecca and Hayes to be getting on with their lives. I am completely in love with Boston and I am already planning another trip!
I thought it was so funny that this very elegant French restaurant had a Margaritaville ice bucket!
Inside Marimekko...I love the bright colors of the fabric there!
Newbury Street might just be one of my favorite places to shop! I can imagine it would be a fun street to live on as well! Just hold on to your phone!
Yesterday was the perfect day to take a stroll through Boston Public Garden! There were people running, having picnics and just relaxing in the park. It is a very lovely garden!
We had dinner last night at Oleana.
This was the only picture that was even remotely good that was taken last night, but I wanted to end with a picture of Rebecca and me!
Rebecca is wearing a beautiful sheer tunic that we found at Zara yesterday! Just a little early birthday present since I won't be here on September 14!
Going to have lunch with Rebecca and Hayes and then headed to the airport and back to reality! I hope everyone has a great weekend! Follow me on Instagram @crazyblondelifeblog!
