HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROBERT HUDSON JONES!
It's hard to believe that it's been a year since my precious little grandson Hudson was born! He has so brought so much joy into our lives and I feel so blessed to be able to see him every day and watch him grow up! He has such a beautiful disposition and his joy is contagious!
We had his 1st birthday party here yesterday and it was a very special day! Lauren and I made grilled chicken, corn salad, fresh fruit, assorted cheeses and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. The cake was made by Easy Peasy Decadent Desserts in Greensboro. It had two layers...the top layer was banana split and the bottom, chocolate. It was decorated with lions, monkeys, elephants, hippos and giraffes! Of course, it was gluten free and very extraordinary!

Easy Peasy is going to be on Sugar Showdown September 21 on the cooking channel, so be sure to watch! They are very talented and this cake couldn't be any more adorable! It really was delicious and luckily there is plenty left for today!
Hudson had his very own cake to eat! At first, he didn't know what to do with it, but it didn't take long for him to figure it out as you'll see!

My parents look on as Hudson digs in! We had to put him in the kitchen sink and hose him down when he finished! That part wasn't his favorite!
