BLACKBERRY COBBLER
While were on vacation at Bald Head Island, I picked up this great cookbook from Room Service to add to my collection. I just couldn't resist a cookbook called The Up South Cookbook, Chasing Dixie in a Brooklyn Kitchen! The recipes are Southern favorites, "updated by newly discovered ingredients and different cultures. Some of my favorites are Collard Greens Pesto and Pasta, Fried Corn, and Smoked Trout Deviled Eggs! Last night I decided to try the Blackberry Cobbler and it did not disappoint! Keep scrolling down for the recipe for the cobbler.
The spatula is from Williams Sonoma for its campaign to benefit No Kid Hungry. Its goal is to raise 1.5 million dollars to help connect children in need to 15 million meals! Williams Sonoma asked celebrities and chefs to design limited edition spatulas to help the cause. My spatula was designed by Ina Garten.
Last night was so pleasant (finally) that we ate on the porch!
The napkin in the pictures is from Anthropologie and my cute linen tee shirt is from Loft.
I hope you've enjoyed this post! Let me know if you make the cobbler and what you think! I'm leaving for Boston in the morning so I'll be blogging from there until Saturday. Have a great day!
