We had a busy day yesterday here on Bald Head Island.  Mr. Crazy Blonde got here and I picked him up from the ferry along with a special friend of Sarah's, Sarah McQueen!  My days have been pretty laid back for the most part since we've been here, but today that is going to change because Hudson, Lauren and Chris are coming!  I can't wait to see Hudson at the ocean for the first time!  They will be here for the week along with Mr. Crazy...unfortunately Sarah has to leave us on Sunday.  Our house will be bustling with people and activity and I am looking forward to it!  I'll have plenty of things to share on the blog!

This past week has been great here and we managed to find time to do a little shopping at our favorite boutique on the island, Island Passage!  When I saw this dress, I knew that it would be such a great transition piece!  It is perfect for wearing now with espadrilles and later with booties!

I'm sure by now you've noticed that I've been wearing my hair curly!  The humidity is 200% here and there is no other choice!  I'd love to know what you think, curly or straight?  I've had some positive comments on Instagram and I'm thinking I might just keep it this way for a while!

I absolutely cannot wait to throw these booties on with a pair of jeans, but it's too hot for that now!

Later in the evening we had a great little French Rose that we found at Maritime Market here on the island and some delicious cheese and crackers..I could eat cheese and drink Rose every night and be very happy!
