DRAPER JAMES AND RED TRUCKS

It's been such a great trip to Nashville!  We still have some time this morning to squeeze in just a few more things before heading to the airport.  We did so many fun things and I can't believe it's almost time to go home!

Yesterday we started the day with a trip to Draper James, Reese Witherspoon's adorable boutique in Nashville.  So far, Nashville has the only shop, but plans are being made to open them other places!  Draper James  is named after Reese Witherspoon's grandparents who were huge influences in her life.  It has a definite Southern style and sells clothing and home decor.  When we walked in the door, they offered us sweet tea!  It is such a bright and happy place that we just wanted to stay and visit!

Can you believe that next door to Draper James is a place called Sprinkles that has a cupcake ATM?!  What a great idea!  You choose your cupcake on the screen, pay, and the cupcake comes out in a little box!  Of course, you can go in and buy cupcakes as well as cookies and ice cream!

After going to Draper James and Sprinkles, we had lunch at a place called Burger Up.  Burger Up serves burgers, salads, great small plates and most all of the ingredients are locally sourced...just my kind of place.

We ate fried mac and cheese balls and quinoa fritters!  They were both delicious and very indulgent!  It is so hard to stick to your diet in Nashville because there are temptations everywhere!

The Omni has a shop that sell cowboy hats, and Sarah couldn't resist trying one on!

Sarah is wearing a Sundry dress from Jamie Nashville and I'm wearing a blouse from Draper James!

We went to the George Jones Museum because everyone we talked to said that they had the best rooftop bar, but when we got to the rooftop, it was so hot that we just couldn't stay.  This picture of the red truck was about the best we could do at the George Jones Museum!

Later in the evening, we went to hear Lacy Green sing at a little place called The Row.  Lacy was raised in Pilot Mountain and is the daughter of one of my dearest friends.  She is an up and coming singer and songwriter in Nashville - read more about her and listen to some of her music here!  I know you'll love her as much as I do!

I wish we could stay just one more day!  There are still so many things to do...I guess we'll have to come back!
