LUNCH AT UNDERCURRENT RESTAURANT
Yesterday for lunch we went to Undercurrent Restaurant in Greensboro NC to have yet another birthday lunch! It was such a great experience from beginning to end (except for the yucky weather). The restaurant is beautiful, as you can see from the pictures, our food was so delicious and the service was impeccable! If you live nearby, or if you are ever visiting, it is worth the trip to go and eat there!
Chilled strawberry soup with a hint of basil and orange. The strawberries came from a local organic farm!
This is a salmon dish with oat risotto and asparagus. We all shared so we could get a taste of everything. I can't begin to describe how good this was!
I wish I could remember all of the complex ingredients in this crab cake entree! The crab cake sat on a bed of couscous and was topped with a pumpkin seed and basil pesto! Fabulous!
Sarah got a cheeseburger, topped with brie and bacon!
Unfortunately, Hudson still had to eat his baby food! He does not like peas!
Bourbon bread pudding with blueberries! Everything was so beautiful!
Oatmeal raisin cookies with coconut cashew ice cream and chocolate covered bacon! Indulgence at it's finest!
Undercurrent has a beautiful and large bar area! It would be fun to go early for dinner and have a drink at the bar. I will definitely be going back very soon with Mr. Crazy Blonde!
A very sleepy baby!
We had such a nice afternoon in spite of the rain and cold weather! I loved eating at Undercurrent and celebrating my birthday one more time!
