BOHO CHIC - LATE WINTER INTO SPRING

Even though as I'm typing this, it is 18 degrees outside, Spring is still coming!   Boho Chic makes me think of bold colors and ethnic-inspired patterns paired with suede, leather and fringe.

Bohemian style is usually associated with artists, writers and intellectuals.  The style has a gypsy influence because of it's loose and colorful clothing.  Bohemian style represents a colorful, creative culture.  It first appeared in France after the French revolution.  The Bohemian lifestyle was a rebellion against the Victorian era.  Bohemian style became associated with young people who wanted to separate themselves from materialistic culture.  It was the start of many counter culture styles.  Mass media brought bohemianism into the mainstream and designers started creating bohemian style clothing.  The style has become a fashion staple for many people.  This look is easy to achieve and ever popular!  Chanel the festival vibe to bring some brightness to the last days of winter.
