REALLY GOOD NEW ENGLAND CLAM CHOWDER AND A CHOPPED SALAD

New England Clam Chowder and Chopped Salad

After being cold all weekend long, it was time for soup!  We had some friends over to watch the Panthers play on Sunday night and I decided to make rich, creamy and warming New England Clam Chowder.  A warning here - this isn't a quick and easy weeknight dinner, but if you have plenty of time, it is definitely worth it!  I made plenty for leftovers and it was more delicious the next day because the flavors had time to mingle together and create even more deliciousness!  The chopped salad was also very good the next day because it was made with radicchio and Napa cabbage.
