Hi Everyone and welcome to Christmas at the Smith home!  I wanted to share our house decked out for the holidays!  When it comes to decorating for the holidays, as you can see, I am really very traditional.  Our family has been collecting ornaments and Christmas heirlooms for years and it's fun to incorporate them into the decor.  We all love seeing the ornaments from past holidays and the memories they bring.  It's also fun to pull out the Christmas china and special silver serving pieces to create a magical feel.  The smell of the fresh Frazier Fir tree and garlands make the whole house smell like Christmas.  Nest and Jo Malone holiday candles are also burning constantly!  This year, I waited until December 1st to start playing the holiday music and I'm not tired of it yet!  My favorite is James Taylor Christmas but I also love Harry Connick  and Frank Sinatra!  Put on the Christmas music, make some hot chocolate and enjoy the tour!

I found the large mercury glass ornaments that are under the tree at a vintage store last year!

No matter what is going on in the world or what problems you might be having in your life, take just a moment to let go of the negativity!  Make this holiday season the best ever!

The garlands and wreaths came from Special Arrangements Florist owned by Lyn Moser.  Lyn is one of the most creative people I know and her flower arrangements are beautiful.  Lyn and her flowers have been a part of every special celebration, that our family has had since our children were very young.
