A Perfect Suede Jacket and a Beautiful Day!
Yesterday, I received .a package in the mail from one of my readers. It was a beautiful book that she had written called The Red Bandanna Travel Book - The Medicine of Traveling. It is a beautiful travel journal or a “labyrinth leading to the realization of your travel dreams”. I’m always excited when I receive a package, but this one was very special because on the inside of the book, there was a handwritten note saying…”Suzanne, Thanks for inspiring me with CBL! I hope this inspires you to travel”.
Every day, I pour my heart and soul into Crazy Blonde Life, and just that note in the front of the book made it all worth it. To know that I’ve inspired even one person means so much to me! Thank you Joanne Soucha for taking the time to send me your beautiful book with such a sweet note! I am already planning my next trip! If you’re feeling a bit of wanderlust this summer, you can get your copy here!
Speaking of packages…I received this amazing suede jacket in the mail not long ago from Boston Proper. I absolutely love a suede jacket and this one with the turquoise detail and fringe was just calling my name when I chose it from the website. I love turquoise in the summer and like I always say, there are chilly evenings and air conditioned restaurants and it never hurts to have a jacket…especially a fabulous one like this.
I decided to keep things simple with my outfit and let the jacket steal the show by pairing it with a white tee and white jeans. My shoes are by Michael Kors and still available. The turquoise earrings (that I’ve had for years) just happen to be a perfect match to the jacket. I’ve linked some similar ones below!
I’m so excited because this is the last day that I have to take my antibiotic…hopefully for forever! It’s a beautiful day and I’m going for a walk and then, for the first time this year, going to sit by the pool for a while! Looking forward to the best day ever with Lauren, Hudson and Graham!
Leave me a note and let me know what inspires you! What are the little (but not so little) things that make you smile and that you look forward to!
I hope you all have a great day! Thanks so much for reading!
