Life Lately
I just have to start this post by telling you that what you’re reading is the second edition of the same post! I accidentally deleted the whole thing this morning…
I started to bag the whole thing and go for a walk, but changed my mind and did it over. Hopefully I’ll be able to fit in the walk! I really hope you enjoy!
The past few weeks have been very busy for me! Between having our daughter and her family staying with us, blogging, getting ready for almost a month at the beach and just my everyday responsibilities, it’s been a little crazy. Today on Crazy Blonde Life, I wanted to share a little of what’s been going on around here and things that have been on my radar.
I found this adorable bar cart (below) at a consignment shop a couple of weeks ago and knew it would be perfect for the front porch. I kept things simple and just added some hydrangeas from the garden, a bottle of rosé (and a few summertime libations) along with a pumpkin pound cake and some cheese and crackers. I made the pound cake for an upcoming tailgating post, so check back for that in late August.
I love to entertain on the porch when the weather is nice, but I also love to just sit in the rocking chairs and look at magazines or serve dinner out there! I’m not sure what it is about the front porch, but it’s my favorite spot lately.
Last night, I hosted a blogger event at our local Loft. If you’ve been reading Crazy Blonde Life at all, you know my love of Loft and their cute clothes and accessories. They have so many great things right now, including lots of red, white and blue for your July 4th ensemble.
One of my favorite parts of the evening was meeting Leanna Michelle! Leanna is an adorable local blogger and we had so much fun talking about blogging and making plans for an upcoming collaboration. Be sure to follow Leanna on Instagram @leannamichellestu!

I found this adorable dress at Target the other day when I went in to buy paper towels! It happens to me every time!
For some reason I was in a bit of a funk on Friday evening and yesterday morning and this quote helped me to snap out of it. I always turn to Abraham Hicks for inspiration and the teachings really put things in perspective for me on days when things aren’t making sense.
Summer movies are my favorites and I’m looking forward to the release of Wild Rose. I know the music will be great and the story looks amazing! Here is a short exert from a review done by NPR. You can read the whole review here. This is definitely one to look forward to!

I’ve been seriously craving a berry cobbler lately and this one from Camille Styles looks amazing. I’m planning to make it for our dessert on July 4th…and maybe tonight!
There has been so much talk about the harmful chemicals inl sunscreens lately and I’m rethinking what to buy for our upcoming beach trip. If you’re the least bit concerned about this, you’ll enjoy reading this article from Goop. I’m also linking some natural sunscreens below.
